Abstract Objective: To explore the value of CT diagnosis of hepatic invasion from gallbladder carcinoma. Methods: CT manifestations of hepatic invasion from gallbladder carcinoma in 25 cases examined by CT and B ultrasonography and have been proven by clinic were analysed retrospectively. Results: Of the 25 cases with hepatic invasion from gallbladder carcinoma, 21 were diagnosed accurately by CT and 11 were diagnosed accurately by B ultrasonography. There is no interface between liver and gallbladder tumour in most cases with hepatic invasion from gallbladder carcinoma, and there is abnormal low density in the liver closed to gallbladder tumor, which has enhancement after injection of contrast medium. Conclusion: CT is valuable in diagnosing hepatic invasion from gallbladder carcinoma, the diagnostic accuracy of CT is significantly superior to that of B ultrasonography(P<0.005).
