Abstract Objective: To investigate the best b value for pancreatic cancer with DWI. Methods: Routine MR, DWI with different combination of b values [(0, 50), (0, 400), (0, 700), (0, 1000)s/mm2] were obtained in 73 cases(41 pancreatic cancer, 32 normal). The maps and the value of ADC in pancreatic cancer, tissue near the cancer, normal pancreatic tissue were analyzed and measured respectively. Results: The high image quality of ADC was the combination of (0, 400)s/mm2. There was a significant difference among tissue near the cancer, normal pancreatic tissue and pancreatic cancer. Conclusion: The （0，400）s/mm2 is the best b value for pancreatic cancer with DWI.
