Abstract Objective: To explore the method and clinical value of measuring the femoral neck anteversion(FNA) in ballet students. Materials and Methods: Multislice spiral CT studies of the hip were performed in 24 ballet students. We measured the FNA angle, Age range, 16~24 years, 24 females. Results: FNA were measured in 48 hip, 6 hips had normal FNA, while 33 hips had larger FNA. Average is 19.21°. Conclusion: Abnormal FNA can lead to dislocation of femoral head. CT being simple and reliable is the method of choice for measuring FNA. So it is of great meanings to provide the conduct of the exact exercises of the ballet students.
