The imaging in the diagnosis of pancreatic fibrosis: a review |

Abstract Pancreatic fibrosis is an important pathological process for the repair of pancreatic injury, which is closely related to the occurrence and development of chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic tumor. Early diagnosis of pancreatic fibrosis and early clinical intervention has important significance to slow down the development of disease and improve the prognosis of patients. In recent years, noninvasive methods, especially imaging in the diagnosis of pancreatic fibrosis has developed rapidly. This article will review and discuss the methods used to assess pancreatic fibrosis and the progress in imaging research.
