Abstract Objective: To assess the value of ultrasonography combined with mammography in diagnosing breast cancer. Methods: 136 cases of breast cancer confirmed histologically had mammography and ultrasonography for diagnosis and differential diagnosis. Results: Sensitivity of diagnosing breast cancer with ultrasonography is 87.5%, and sensitivity of diagnosing breast cancer with mammography is 73.5%. Sensitivity of ultrasonography and mammography together is 92.6%. Conclusion: Complementation of ultrasonography and mammography can promote the diagnostic rate of breast cancer.
