Abstract Objective: To evaluate the effect of low radiation dose and low concentration of contrast agent for coronary computed tomography(CCTA) with 320-detector CT. Methods: 200 patients with clinically suspected coronary disease were randomly divided into A, B, C three groups. Group A(120 kV, 270 mgI/mL) 65 cases, group B(120 kV, 350 mgI/mL) 65 cases, group C(100 kV, 270 mgI/mL) 70 cases, and performed CCTA with prospective ECG gating by using 320-detector CT. Image and the optimal radiation dose were evaluated. Results: Coronary images of three groups had no significant difference(P>0.5). Image noise and enhancement was significantly different(P<0.05), but it can be used for diagnosis. The radiation dose received by the patient had a significant difference(P<0.01), and the dose received by group C is the lowest. Conclusion: The 320 multi-slice CT with low radiation dose and low concentration of contrast agent can be used for CCTA, and has obvious advantages.
