Abstract Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of 99mTc-MIBI nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging on the diagnosis of coronary artery disease. Methods: In 128 hospitalized cases involved 76 males and 52 females, aged ranged from 30~85(56.5±12.5)years. The cases were checked by 99mTc-MIBI nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging and CAG. All data were analysed. Part of the patients were followed-up. Results: Sixty-five cases had positive 99mTc-MIBI nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging and CAG. Thirty-two cases had positive 99mTc-MIBI nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging and negative CAG. Twenty-two cases had negative 99mTc-MIBI nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging and positive CAG. Nine cases had negative 99mTc-MIBI nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging and CAG. One positive checking patients and both negative results had good prognosis. Both positive results had bad prognosis. Conclusion: 99mTc-MIBI nuclide myocardial perfusion imaging and CAG supplement each other, which plays an important role in diagnosis, directing treatment and juding prognosis of coronary artery disease.
