Abstract Objective: To comparatively study the distribution of SUVs measured by 2D or 3D body imaging with 18F-FDG PET/CT in different organs of normal people. Methods: Forty healthy persons were divided into two groups, which were matched by sex, age, weight and height. 2D and 3D body imagings with 18F-FDG PET/CT were performed in each group respectively. SUVs in different organs were measured and analyzed, and left ventricular walls were also evaluated by the intensity of radioactivity. Results: The distribution of FDG in 2D group had a good correlation with 3D group. There was no statistical difference of SUVs between 2D group and 3D group. Conclusion: There is no distinct effect on SUVs measured by 2D or 3D body imaging with 18F-FDG PET/CT in different organs of normal people.
