Abstract:Objective: To investigate the feasibility, clinical efficacy and influencing factors of 125I particles in the treatment of malignant tumors. Methods: The clinical data of 38 patients with malignant tumors treated by CT-guided 125I seed therapy in our hospital from April 2013 to March 2016 were retrospectively analyzed. The preoperative and postoperative tumor volume changes of 2 months and 6 months were compared. According to the changes of tumor volume, blood supply or tumor metabolic changes, the curative effect was graded(CR: complete remission, PR: partial remission, SD: tumor stability, PD: progression of disease, CR+PR for the total effective rate), and its short-term curative effect was evaluated. The data were analyzed by SPSS 17.0 statistical software before and after operation. The t test was used for statistical analysis. The difference of P<0.05 was statistically significant. Results: Postoperative 2 months, CR: 3 cases, PR: 18 cases, SD: 15 cases, PD: 2 cases, CR+PR: 55.26%; 6 months after operation, CR: 6 cases, PR: 21 cases, SD: 9 cases, PD: 2 cases; CR+PR: 71.05%. There was a significant difference in tumor volume at preoperative and postoperative 2 and 6 months(P<0.05). Conclusion: 125I seed implantation is a safe and effective method for the treatment of malignant tumor with less trauma, less adverse reaction, and satisfactory clinical efficacy in the control of tumor growth and the clinical symptoms of patients.
