Abstract Objective: To discuss the value and the effect of CT perfusion imaging on the cerebral hemodynamic changes after subarachnoid hemorrhage. Methods: CT perfusion imaging was employed in 21 cases of subarachnoid hemorrhage(including 3 delayed cerebral infarction) as the experimental group and 7 patients as the control group to compare the difference of lobar CT perfusion parameters; comparing the CT perfusion photo and plain scan in the diagnosis of cerebral ischemia in the test group. Results: In the experimental group, CBF value was 21.35±3.42 with the occurrence of delayed cerebral infarction and 23.37±2.29 in the group without infarction while it was 26.59±2.47 in the control group, what was more, there was a significant difference between the two groups. Besides, as to the TTS value, it was 32.26±12.08 in the occurring of delayed cerebral infarction group and the value was 19.14±4.88 in the non-ischemic group and they had the obvious statistical difference, but no significant difference was showed in other perfusion parameters. Low perfusion area visible to the naked eye was detected on the perfusion photo of 10 patients in the study group, but low density changes were not found by CT plain scan. Conclusion: CT perfusion imaging is effective in assessing cerebral hemodynamics after subarachnoid hemorrhage.
