Abstract Objective: To study the characteristics of craniofacial bone of Zhuang people by CT. Methods: The craniofacial bones of 100 Zhuang people and 100 Han people were scanned by spiral CT. Three-dimensional reconstructed image and three-dimensional measurement were performed. All data was compared between different peoples. Results: The results showed defference between male and female in the 100 Zhuang people. Compared with Han people, Zhuang people has their facial characteristics, such as wider and higher cheek bone. No specific features in the other parts. Conclusions: The measurement of the Guangxi Zhuang people’s craniofacial bone, such as Tz1-Tz1’, Tz2-Tz2’, angle Tz1-Go-Me were significantly greater than those of the Guangxi Han people, which can accurately reflect the Guangxi Zhuang people cheekbones prominent, morphological features and help to distinguish from the local Han people.
