Abstract Objective: To estimate the value of MRI in the diagnosis of congenital uterine anomalies. Methods: MRI, ultrasonic and clinical data of 34 cases with diagnosis of congenital uterine anomalies were retrospectively analyzed, then we compared the MR and ultrasonic diagnosis with hysteroscopy and/or laparoscopy results. Results: The diagnostic accuracies of MRI and ultrasonic were 97.1% and 85.3%, using hysteroscopy and/or laparoscopy results as gold standard. Conclusion: MRI can show stereoscopic view of uterine cavity configuration and fundus contour, and is one of the best non-invasive methods in the diagnosis of congenital uterine anomalies.
