Abstract Objective: To investigate the clinical application value of three-dimensional ultrasound in the diagnosis of fetal renal duplication. Methods: Retrospective analysis 14 fetuses with fetal renal duplication from 2011 July to 2012 July, and analyze the three-dimensional image of deformity kidney, so as to explore the application value of three-dimensional ultrasound for fetal renal duplication. Results: All 14 cases of fetal renal duplication can obtain 3D image, the three-dimensional image contains more information than a single 2D image contains. The diagnosis of all fetuses were confirmed by autopsy, fetal MRI examination and postnatal renal ultrasound. Conclusions: Three-dimensional ultrasound could directly display the anatomy of fetal renal duplication deformity compared with two-dimensional ultrasound, and has important value in the diagnosis of fetal renal duplication.
