Abstract Objective: To evaluate the clinical value of automatic breast volume scanning(ABVS) in breast disease. Methods: Using Siemens Acuson 2000 ultrasound system for breast diseases with nipple discharge, the operation specimens correlated with pathological results. Results: The rate of accordance in diagnosing malignant diseases was 100%, and in benign diseases was 82%, compared with routine ultrasound examination, the difference had statistical significance(P<0.05). Conclusions: ABVS diagnosis is able to eliminate the differences caused by operative factors. The images were more easily recognizable, more easily accepted by clinicians, can improve the detection rate of breast ductal diseases.
