Abstract:Objective: To observe the characteristics and difference of the inner zone and outer zone of prostate gland, with the inner zone cancer and outer zone cancer by transrectal contrast enhanced ultrasonography. To provide more valuable information for early diagnosing of prostatic carcinoma. Methods: The ultrasound contrast agent was SonoVue(Bracco, Italian). Instrument adopted was Esaote company Technos DU8. The starting time and the ending time of transrectal contrast enhanced ultrasonography in the prostate inner gland(16 cases), the prostate outer gland(16 cases), the prostate inner gland cancer lesion(8 cases), and the prostate outer gland cancer(11 cases) were observed. Results: There was no significant difference between the starting enhanced time of the prostate inner gland and the prostate outer gland, no significant difference between the starting enhanced time of the inner gland cancer lesion and the outer gland cancer lesion too, but the starting enhanced time of the inner gland cancer lesion and the outer gland cancer lesion was earlier than that of the prostate inner gland and the prostate outer gland, the wash out time of the prostate inner gland, the prostate outer gland, the inner gland cancer lesion and the outer gland cancer had no difference. Conclusions: Transrectal contrast enhanced ultrasonography had important value in distinguishing the normal prostate and prostatic carcinoma, and is helpful in diagnosing early prostatic carcinoma.
