Abstract:Objective: To evaluate the value of ultrasonic diagnosis cryptorchidism in children. Methods: 53 cases of children with crytorchidism were examined by two-dimensinal ultrasonography. Results: 53 cases and 65 cryptorchidism were confirmed by operations, of which 63 cryptorchidism were diagnosed accurately by ultrasound, the diagnostic rate is 96.9%. 52 of cryptorchidism were in inguinal tube, 8 were within abdomen and 5 were in scrotum. Conclusion: Ultrasonographic method can be used to diagnose and locate the cryptorchidism prior to operation and insure the success and time saving for operation.
