Abstract:Objective: To investigate MR enhancement of different administration routes in MR pretargeting immunology imaging. Methods: Two groups of mice were injected with SA-DTPA-Gd through tail vein(iv) and intra-peritoneal cavity(ip) respectively, and the MR signal intensity of tumor and liver was determined. Result: In iv group and ip group the maximum enhancement rate of tumor was 70.2% and 46.4% respectively, and there was significant difference. The maximum enhancement rate of liver was 23.7% in ip group and 20.4% in iv group, and there was no signifinant difference. Conclusion: Intravenous injection is in favor of SA-DTPA-Gd’s accumlation in tumor than intraperitoneal injection, and a more homogenious intratumoral distribution is archived.
