Abstract:Objective: To investigate the CT features of epidemic hemorrhagic fever(EHF) and its clinical application. Materials and Methods: Thirty-eight patients were confirmed by clinical practice and CT were performed in all cases. They are divided into 11 severe cases, 22 medium severe cases, 5 mild cases clinically. The CT imaging data were analysed and summarized. Results: There were 26 cases, whose kidneys on both sides were swelling obviously, they are all medium severe or severe patients. There were 12 cases in whom both kidneys were not obviously swelling, all 5 mild cases were in this group. In all the 38 patients, renal subcapsular hemorrhage were seen in 2 cases, perirenal fluid collection in 10 cases, seroperitoneum in 16 cases, hydrothorax in 16 cases, pneumonorrhagia 1 case, pulmonary edema in 2 cases, atelectasis 1 case. Conclusion: CT could accurately and promptly display the changes of relative viscera. CT could provide valuable information for the early diagnosis and evaluate the treatment of EHF. It might play an important role in the diagnosis of EHF.
