Abstract:Objective: To assess the MSCT manifestations of the pathologic cardiac fatty infiltration. Methods: The morphological characteristics and distribution pattern of cardiac fatty infiltration on MSCT in 85 patients were analyzed retrospectively. Results: Of the 85 cases of pathologic fatty infiltration which included healed myocardial infarction(69 cases), arrhythmogenic right ventricular cardiomyopathy(4 cases), lipomatous hypertrophy of the interatrial septum(7 cases), viral myocarditis(5 cases). Conclusions: The morphological characteristics and distribution pattern of cardiac fat can help to differentiate pathologic fatty infiltration.
